Life Log 08/03/2007

Dear Diary.
Today I met David Schwimmer and told him about my job. I refrained from displaying my favorite book on my desk when he came in, "Four Arguments for the Elimination of Television." I also went to the Monterey Bay Strawberry Festival. We are raising funds to buy hundreds of backpacks for low-income kids at a low-income school in Salinas We made about $300 tonight selling chocolate dipped strawberries and berries in waffle cones/whipped cream and choc sauce atop.
David didn't chip in. I invited him to donate but he totally didn't. What kind of "Friend" is that? Just kidding. He seemed like a very nice man.
Very Truly Yours,
Laura

Dear Berry Goddess,

You are the goodest do gooder that I know. Keep up the good work.

Also, is David more attractive than I remember? Or is it just the scruff and baseball cap? If you could let me know I would be greatly indebted. To you.

Loves from the SLC.

What a great fundraiser...You will have made a lot of kids happy.
...and he wouldn't even pitch in for the chocolate berries? Now, why was he there?

Oh, and Driscoll's really do have the finest berries in the world. I won't buy strawberries unless they are Driscoll's.

Thank you, Beans, for the nice comments! It was a great festival. We raised in all, about $2,000 for backpacks.

i'm stuck on the fact that such a Friend wouldn't be the least bit Friendly. All those coins jingling in his pockets with none to spare for a good cause? Give me a break.
That irritates me.

And you are way more beautiful than any of the other women who have ever stood next to him in a photo....and I hope he reads this!

they can all go and adore themselves in the Great and Spacious Building...but as for me and my friends...we'll sell chocolate dipped strawberries for a good cause!!!

YES!
