I don't like how humans hold other humans accountable for things. Why can't we just all hold ourselves accountable?
But that's not what this blog is about.
I was reading about Geronimo the Chiricahua Apache warrior. He fought against Mexico who killed his family and the US who stole his land and then eventually was ousted to Florida, New Mexico (I think) and finally Oklahoma.
Geronimo put up a really good fight and did what he felt he had to do for his family and nation- like all patriots and Book of Mormon patrons would probably do or at least profess. He had a bunch of wives, some of them over-lapped each other. Some he sort of left. He's no saint. But who said this was about casting stones. I didn't. I said this was about a barrier, numbering in the 200th range, to finding something good about a Bush. Anyway... His persona's been ripped off in books and movies. He's a national icon. He's buried in Oklahoma. I'm reading on down the wiki-article la la la, blah blah blah... and out of nowhere, it happens completely unexpectedly. It says something about a Bush. Bush and Geronimo? In the same article? Yes. A Bush relative right up the tainted family line dug up and stole some of Geronimo's mortal remains. Totally inappropriate, totally wrong, seemingly unrelated and so far-fetched, totally shady. TOTALLY AS PER USUAL. Here it is:
"In 1918, certain remains of Geronimo were apparently stolen in a grave robbery. Three members of the Yale secret society of Skull and Bones served as Army volunteers at Fort Sill during World War I; one of those three members was Prescott Bush, grandfather of the forty-third President of the United States George W. Bush. They reportedly stole Geronimo's skull, some bones, and other items, including Geronimo's prized silver bridle, from the Apache Indian Prisoner of War Cemetery."
From Skull & Bones Society Indian grave robbers to war mongerers, they just cover all bases of insanity. And TWO products of this family line have served past, current AND RE-ELECTED presidential terms!!! I repeat: INSANITY.

I wonder what it would have been like to be there when Geronimo and Prescott met in the afterlife and Geronimo asked, "Why the hell did you steal my head?"
