In Today's News ---

The Chinese are hacking Congressional computers looking for traitors. I don't blame them one bit for if I were a Chinese citizen, I'd spend my precious time doing the same thing. Did I read the full article? No. Do I plan to read the full article? No. Do I delight in writing my own endings to any given story's beginning? YES.

Also, today I rode PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION to work. I got there in 1/2 hour. How long does it take me to get to work driving my own automobile? (Looo-oong.... Grandpa is talking to you! Where is my automobiiiiile??) That would be 25 minutes in my own automobile, front door to office door. I say it is worth it to take the bus and leave the truck in the driveway. There were maybe 5 people on the bus this morning. And maybe 10 after work on the ride back to Santa Cruz. I think more people should ride the bus for the following reasons:

1) The buses are empty! Save the earth people and make use of these giant limos!
2) It is so fun to get a giant limo ride to work
3) It makes you get up in the morning and be on time to work, yea, even early to work
4) You feel like you're doing something good for the world. Your part. It stirs happiness inside, feelings of productivity and proactivity. Your vision is expanded and horizons broadened. I was productive at work today (mobilizing on a new initiative to save people from diabetes and obesity). I had a positive attitude. I am now productive at home today. Listening to Kanye West while I clean my house.
5) Bus drivers and fellow riders are one of a kind people. Mix it up. Let a little diversity in.
6) When I came home, my truck was so rested and happy in the driveway.
7) I pack my favorite books and have time to read them on the way to work. Current selections: Smart Women Finish Rich and Moloka'i.
and 8) It might be cheaper than gas.
