America

So the Republicans fear and loathe las vegas socialized healthcare (thank you Senator McCarthy. Your legend lives on!). Dem's stick it to them anyway through the back door by taxing their wealthiest over it (read: Medicare). We're at the mercy of profit driven drug companies, insurance companies and lobbified FDA. We don't "qualify" for healthcare, are unemployed, need every drug manufactured for any inconvenient human condition and are still paying dearly in the middle east for administrative debushery.

Also, I opened my first check upon being promoted. I have been officially gouged by my government. So I turn to the accountant next to me and ask, "why? I am not burdensome to my state or country. Yes, I need my garbage picked up and a road to drive on. Police come in handy (so does pepper spray) so I'm fine paying for those things. But I pay thousands of dollars a year for this stuff. I will never see my return on social insecurity. I don't breed irresponsibly. I buy my food with this bona fide green paper and ink as printed by GM AIG US Treasury. Not with stamps. (Which are as good as if not essentially the same as those pieces of green papers now.) These are the pricey services and ones I don't use. Why am I paying quite nearly 25% of this entire bi-monthly compensation for my blood, sweat and tears to a government I don't ask hardly a thing from now but then when I might need to later, they will likely not be there for me?"

"What do you claim on your W-whatever?"

"I claim 1. 1. As in 1 woman. 1 independent, throw your hands up at me woman with no tax breaks to call her own. I can't claim 2. 2 would mean I have bred, consumed more, needed more or am housing and enabling someone else to need more. Once I house a leech in the form of a husband or child, I can get a tax break. I get a tax break when government spends tax money on me. I don't get a tax break when government isn't spending tax money on me. I pay more to be neglected and pay less to get royal "democratic" treatment. Brilliant!

WHY does all my money go to services I never use and companies I'll never take out loans from!? Where oh where is the way out of these shackles?

I'm incorporating myself. I will be Incorporated. I will find a way to stay my single, bitter self and get a few more tax breaks. I'm not falling into government's marriage/procreate/buy a house tax breakage booby trap. But I do plan to take Obama up on his house credit offer. But back to my incorporating myself, Santa Cruz Public Library has the how-to book available in all branches. Which means that no one thought of this. I'm checking it out this weekend. Oh hey! I DO use a government service! Happy day. I'm back to loving the fact that I donate all my money to the wealthiest 1%!
