How doth thou posteth photos?

... I can't remember how and can't figure out how so I'm blogged on that one.
The new subject of my posting for today: "NDE #289"

That's right, I had my 289th near death experience this weekend. I went mountain biking. For all you mountain biking enthusiasts- how doth thou spelleth that word?- you will love this one.
So, I go with 3 dudes. Larry, Curly and Moe. Larry and Curly are from southern Utah. Uh huh. Yes, they know how to mountain bike and are not to mention a couple of bohunks. Moe is from the area. We all gear up, get to the trail head and gets a goin. Boom, L, C and M TAKE OFF. And I mean, TAKE OFF. Now, this trail people, is not your standard beginner's trail. There's a massive, rocky, creviced drop off RIGHT at the beginning. I, a road biker, if you can even call me that, about peed my pants. Except instead of peeing my pants, I decided to crash instead... within the first 30 seconds of me pedaling down this ravine. I fell off and my bike flew down this drop off. I climb down and get it, grab it by the wheel and throw if back on the trail. Get back on, 2 minutes later, LASKJFHLAKSJHDLKASJDHLKAJSH MAMA MIA!!!!!!!!! Another spill. People, this trail was 6 miles long. But to make a long story short, I made it. I freaking made it. Made it out ALIVE. I girded up my loins (dude, literally) and fresh courage took and finished that bad boy. The boys and I had radios. I decided, after they had long gone ahead at different points on the trail, to serenade them with various tunes such as Kumbaya, Home on the Range and of course Happy Trails. I also made, what I'm gonna go ahead and say, very funny jokes- to which they didn't find at all humorous (see above citation regarding Utah residency) i.e. "Hey guys, don't worry about me, just made friends with a little mountain lion here. You go ahead, I'll catch up!" and "Heaokay... gonna camp here for the night...." couple minutes later, "Roasting marshmallows... you're really missing out dudes."
That was my blog for the day. Happy trails!
