Wtinessed an accident last night

I saw this logger truck on Hwy 152 headed toward Watsonville while I was on my way from Watsonville to Gilroy to meet my parents. I remember thinking that guy was not supposed to be on that Hwy with his huge truck (big trucks are banned since it's windy and small) and when I saw him, he was pulled over tightening the logs on his truck. I assumed he was doing that in order to handle the curves but then thought he’s going to create a jarred concentration of weight on his tail. It was really creepy seeing that truck had overturned on Holohan when I came back from Gilroy a few hours later. I saw the white car completely smashed in the back and thought for sure it was fatal. I’m glad there was a story about it in the Sentinel and I’m so relieved to hear that everyone involved survived. It was one of those things you see, you turn off your music, your eyes get really wide and you just cover your mouth and start praying for the people. I’m just so glad to know that woman is alive and no one else was in the backseat. I assumed the worst- kids in the backseat, no survivors since that car was completely smashed from the backseat down- like junk-yard smashed. There’s lots of despairing news out there. A miracle pulled out of what easily could have been a tragedy in this case-- so uplifting to read about.

Man oh man. I hate that. Those little doses of reality that just floor you. I've had similar experiences.

And sorry that you all had a scary accident recently? Im assuming everyone is okay?
